The Australian Embassy in Tehran has re-opened but can only provide limited consular and passport assistance in Iran at this time. All in-person consular and passport services are by appointment only.
If you require in-person consular or passport services, please send your appointment request to [email protected], stating your name and the services required.
You can now upload your Full Validity Passport application documentation directly without attending interview at the Embassy. Please visit the Australian Passport Office website to start your application.
If your enquiry is about Australian visa or citizenship - the Embassy does not process visa applications or provide immigration and citizenship services. Please direct such enquiries to [email protected]

Australians in need of urgent consular assistance should call the Australian Government 24-hour Consular Emergency Centre on 1300 555 135 in Australia or +61 2 6261 3305 outside Australia.
