The Australian Embassy in Tehran has re-opened but can only provide limited consular and passport assistance in Iran at this time. All in-person consular and passport services are by appointment only.

You can now upload your Full Validity Passport application documentation directly without attending interview at the Embassy. Please visit the Australian Passport Office website to start your application.

If your enquiry is about Australian visa or citizenship - the Embassy does not process visa applications or provide immigration and citizenship services. Please direct such enquiries to [email protected]

The security situation is unpredictable and could deteriorate further with little warning. Our ability to provide consular assistance in Iran is limited.
