Family Migration

Partner migration is migration to Australia as the spouse, prospective spouse (fiancé) or interdependent partner of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. For more information on Partner migration.

Please ensure you understand the requirements and apply for the correct visa subclass. If you are applying for a Partner visa (subclass 309/100) you must be legally married or intend to marry outside Australia during the processing of your visa application, or be in a de facto relationship with your partner. If you are applying for a Prospective Spouse visa application (Subclass 300) you must be engaged and be intending to marry after the visa is granted.
